When You Join The Lazer Blaze Crew

Working at Lazer Blaze is great fun and will provide you with some excellent real-life learning experiences. We cater for a wide variety of people and ages, but our main customer base is 7 to 24 year olds. Not only will you strive to ensure that the players have a great time, but also endeavour to help parents accompanying their children feel as comfortable as possible.

Our Crew consists of people aged mainly 18 and over. Lazer Blaze does have some Junior Crew aged between 15 and 17, but the majority of our positions are held by people who are aged 18 and over.

Most of our Crew are students and are employed on a casual basis. Our casual hours are mainly weekends and weeknights so the hours suit most students. Our rosters work around your study timetables and also any sporting commitments you have where possible.

Working with the Crew at Lazer Blaze means that you will provide a lot of customer service, so if dealing with people and the public isn't your thing, then working at Lazer Blaze isn't for you. The job will involve serving people, selling games, cash handling, teaching people how to play and ensuring people have a safe and AWESOME time when they visit us at Lazer Blaze. In addition to these roles, you will be required to take phone enquiries and bookings, plus general cleaning such as wiping down tables, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning toilets.

Lazer Blaze strives to maintain and provide high customer service and satisfaction for all its customers and holds Crew Meetings every 3-6 months to share experiences, keep up-to-date on what's happening at the centers, catch up with one another and do extra training on new products and customer service skills.

The number of hours we offer to each of our Crew varies depending on their availability, but most do between 7 and 25 hours per week. There are also plenty of opportunities to work more hours during school holiday periods too.

Our Crew also receive FREE games and heavily discounted drinks/food/merchandise.
